Unlocking Finance to Scale Climate Solutions

Hosted by: RTI International and Millennium Challenge Corporation

This event will showcase how the United States government is working to close the climate financing gap and catalyze additional investment. The challenges and opportunities associated with climate finance will be explored through the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC’s) major investments in Kosovo and Mozambique, which span both low carbon development and historically under-represented adaptation. This event will also showcase progress made from MCC and USAID’s Climate Finance + initiative launched at COP27 to introduce and scale up green finance products in the low to lower middle-income countries that need it most.
