From November 30 – December 12, 2023, The Climate Registry (TCR), in collaboration with the Climate Action Reserve (Reserve), continued its long-standing tradition of hosting a delegation to bring together diverse climate leaders and activists from U.S. states, local jurisdictions, the private sector, and sovereign tribal nations to highlight subnational climate policy, innovation, and action. The purpose of this joint effort was to support and highlight the importance of subnational climate policy, ambition, and the innovative power of public-private partnerships in North America to advance action on climate solutions. 

TCR’s Pathways to 1.5 Pavilion aligned with and supported the shift to a decarbonized economy in support of the Paris Agreement. Pavilion panels and discussions highlighted critical topics related to subnational collaboration, local climate action, pathways to net-zero, climate justice, transportation, climate finance, innovative climate leadership, and more.
