This event will be a town hall discussion with women leaders from within and alongside the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force, a global network of 43 states and provinces on the front lines of protecting tropical forests and fighting climate change. The GCF Task Force developed a gender policy at COP27 and endorsed it at our Annual Meeting in Yucatan, Mexico in February 2023. We will have brief comments, followed by small group working sessions, and a report back on ways to advance the gender inclusion agenda across the GCF Task Force!
